It has been a great year in pipes. It has been a great year in new pipe thoughts. It has been a great year in new pipe friendships. It’s going to be even better in 2014!
Thank you all for the patience & support. This was a difficult year for me with a lot of unexpected but great transitions. I am glad that this phase of the whirlwind changes are over. Looking forward to whatever is coming next.
In saying goodbye to 2013, I add some further words for thought. I just can’t help it. It’s TobaccoDays.
Don’t Waste Time Grieving Past Mistakes.
Learn From Them And Move On.
Spend Less Time Worrying About Who’s Right
And More Time Deciding What’s Right.
Be Willing To Lose A Battle In Order To Win The War.
Learn To Show Cheerfulness
Even When You Don’t Feel Like It.
No Matter How Dire The Situation, Keep Your Cool.
Never Underestimate Your Power To Change Yourself.
Never Underestimate Your Power To Change Others.
Don’t Burn Bridges. You’ll Be Surprised
How Many Times You Have To Cross The Same River.
Learn To Disagree Without Being Disagreeable.
Don’t Say You Don’t Have Enough Time.
You Have Exactly The Same Number Of Hours Per Day
That Were Given To Helen Keller, Louis Pasteur,
Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo Da Vinci,
Ghandi, Benjamin Franklin And Albert Einstein.
And Remember, One Original Thought Is Worth A Thousand Sensible Quotings. Be Happy & Willing To Explore Something New & To Experience That New Thing With An Open Mind.
That second last one is the major personal task I will be working on this year.
Have a Safe & Happy Slide Into 2014.
