Sorry about the delay in getting this up here everyone. It was much more work than I anticipated, mainly because when you are in Las Vegas and living ‘Las Vegas’ hours, well…you can imagine. To give you a rough idea, at 5pm on the Saturday of the show, I was falling asleep while posting the 3rd Picture Report to Facebook. Granted it was my 3rd night in Vegas already so please be kind with the assumptions. Additionally, when I came back on Sunday evening, I brought a cold back with me and that put me out of commission for the past few days.
This was the best West Coast Pipe Show event to date in my opinion. I got a rough count on paid attendees from one of the show organizers around Saturday mid-day and at that time they were up to 160. With 110 tables sold and 160 approximate walk-ins, the show floor easily had over 300 pipe makers, collectors and hobbyists making the event their biggest to date. It was overwhelming and as usual, I did not get to meet everyone I would have liked to. Reporting from the show did not make that goal any easier.
Can’t continue to say enough about the small-town, cozy environment the Las Vegas show exudes. Half the show is spent outside Jack’s Pub, the other half on the show-floor.
Please enjoy the pictures from the show.
I am breaking it up into People Pictures and of course, Pipe Pictures.
